JW-892 High-Performance Zinc-Coating Sealer
Category:
Detailed description:
01
Does not contain hexavalent chromium.
02
It is suitable for trivalent blue‑white passivation, non‑hexavalent yellow multicolor passivation, and trivalent black passivation; it can also be used for hexavalent yellow multicolor passivation and olive‑green passivation.
03
Suitable for both immersion and spray applications.
04
A transparent organic anti-corrosion protective film is formed.
05
It can enhance the protective performance of various passivation films in neutral salt spray testing, extending their service life to 100–200 hours.
06
It can be removed with a hot degreasing agent.
Craftsmanship
Bright zinc plating → Pickling and rinsing → Neutralization (2–3% nitric acid) → Passivation → Rinsing → JW‑892 sealing → Drying and curing (60–80°C)
Component: 200 g/L (150–500 g/L)
Specific gravity: 1 mL = 1.03 ± 0.02 g. Dissolve in water (check and adjust the pH of the water to 7–8).
Temperature: Room temperature (10–50°C) (Do not heat the bath solution.)
Drying temperature: 70℃ (<120℃)
pH: 8–9 (can be adjusted using diluted ammonia or ethanolamine)
Application time: Immerse the workpiece in the bath solution and then remove it immediately, or spray the bath solution onto the workpiece.
Tank material: stainless steel, plastic, or steel tanks with a plastic lining. When used for barrel plating, a separator is required.
Filtration: Continuous filtration is recommended.
Maintenance: Ensure that the concentration and pH remain constant.
Note: Under acidic conditions, JW‑892 and its solutions will form flocs; therefore, the pH of the water used for tank rinsing must be above 7. Going forward, care must be taken to avoid mixing JW‑892 or its solutions with acidic solutions and discharging them into the wastewater system, as this could result in insoluble flocs. However, this phenomenon can be exploited for treating wastewater containing JW‑892. JW‑892 sealant should not be applied directly on barrel plating lines, as it may cause the entire drum to become sealed—blocking the holes in the drum and making removal extremely difficult. JW‑892 sealant must be used in a spin dryer with adjustable speed and drying temperature, and the dryer basket should be cleaned regularly; once sealed, the parts must not be washed again.
Removal: In a hot immersion degreaser containing at least 80 g/L of sodium hydroxide (at a temperature above 75°C), any flaky material that floats on the surface must be removed by filtration.
